MACHINE USED IN MOLD MANUFACTURING

 

Machines such as CNC, lathe and milling are used in the manufacture of plastic molds. The design must be revealed before the mold is made. Since the molds are designed in a computer environment, an error-free production process is very important. The size and shape of the product is clearly revealed using utilities.

 

HOW IS PLASTIC MOLD MANUFACTURED?

 

Plastic molds are used for the production of the most preferred plastic materials in daily life. After examining the product to be produced and creating the design state using a computer, it is manufactured by processing the steel in machines such as CNC, lathe, milling and plunge erosion. After the production phase, the mold will be ready for use. We are producing in Istanbul.

Air Steel

We use 2080 air steel in the parts that serve as cutters in the molds and in the blades. 2080 air steel is heat-treated to obtain 55-60 HRC hardness, and it can fulfill its duty without encountering problems such as long-lasting and non-cutting.

Aluminum Alloy

Due to its high thermal conductivity, high toughness, ductile structure, compatibility with polyethylene and polypropylene plastic raw materials, we manufacture the body from 7075 aluminum alloy in the manufacture of plastic blow molds.

Stainless steel

We manufacture the neck and bottom parts of the mold with stainless steel, as it is durable and resistant to corrosion.

In cases where high cooling rate is required, we also use beryllium copper alloy in the mold bottom section.
